Nike Ordem V will be the official match ball for the 2017-18 Serie A season.
It will also be used for the Coppa Italia, Supercoppa and in the Primavera league.

According to Nike, the ball’s unique construction and design distributes pressure evenly across the ball to ensure an accurate strike, while ‘Aerotrac’ grooves in the surface help ensure a stable flight through the air. In addition, the ball can travel with optimal power and acceleration thanks to the upgraded air chamber.
In order to enhance the ball’s grip and feel, the graphics printed onto the surface were printed using orange, white and black 3D ink that creates a textured feel for better grip, control and visibility on the pitch, which should delight most goalkeepers.
Another unique feature of the ball is the motion graphic ‘flickers’ that distort while the ball is rotating. This is supposed to help players make decisions quicker as they can eye the ball better as the pace of football is becoming faster year after year.
