Juventus and their star forward Paulo Dybala have agreed to a new five year contract, keeping the 23 year-old Argentinian international with the bianconeri till 2022.

In a statement, Juventus announced:

“Juventus Football Club is pleased to announce that Paulo Dybala has renewed his contract until 30 June 2022, extending a journey that began in July 2015. Juventus is stepping into the future and they will be doing so joined by La Joya for the next four years.”

Palermo will be paid another €8M performance bonus as part of the deal which brought Dybala to Juventus.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that, following the renewal of the employment contract with the player Paulo Dybala until 30 June 2022, the performance bonus of € 8 million became due to U.S. Città di Palermo S.p.A. and will be paid in four instalments starting from 2018/2019 football season.”

Dybala’s salary will be €7m per season over the course of the deal.

Dybala was very proud and happy to express his current good moment with Juventus.

“It’s difficult to imagine that so many positive things could happen all at once. This is a week full of special emotions for me. I’m extremely happy with what I’ve managed to achieve and what I’m doing for this team, this club and these fans.”
