Just a few days before the beginning of the new season, Atalanta announced its new main sponsor, Veratour. The tour operator has 130 employees and revenue for €177 million in 2016. The company, that is specialized in the organization of holidays, previously sponsored Sampdoria.

The current sponsorship-deal was sealed by Atalanta’s CEO Luca Percassi and Veratour’s general director Stefano Pompili in the headquarters of the tour operator in Rome. Atalanta has not renewed its partnership with TWS.

Atalanta stated that this new partnership with Veratour will be in place until the end of the Serie A TIM 2017-18 first round. There is no news of a possible renewal after that date.

Gasperini’s team will have another sponsor on their jerseys for the Europa League matches. Federal regulations allow clubs to be sponsored by different brands in various competitions. No further details about the Europa League sponsor have been provided at this time. According to Bergamo Post, there is an ongoing negotiation and a press conference to unveil other deals could be held soon.
