Napoli have unveiled their new shirt for the 2017/18 season, called Kombat 2018 and produced by Italian manufacturers Kappa.
The shirt was presented to supporters and the media at the club’s pre-season training camp at Dimaro Folgarida in the north of Italy on Tuesday.
The kit is very similar to Napoli’s 2016/17 shirt, though the new kit has a dark blue trim on the collar, down the sides of the shirt and at the bottom on the back of the shirt underneath the logo of sponsors Kimbo.
The kit was warmly received by the supporters who had turned up to watch the team train, as they applauded the players as they came out to reveal the new shirts from underneath their tracksuit tops and the giant replica shirts on the pitch were unveiled.
Napoli’s first opportunity to wear their new shirts comes on Wednesday when their pre-season fixtures get underway with a friendly against Bassa Anaunia. The Azzurri also face Trento, Carpi, Chievo and Bournemouth as part of their pre-season preparations, and will be participating in the Audi Cup next month alongside Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
