It’s definitely interesting when everyday life is compared to the world of football. In a funny recent survey, UK workers were asked which football manager they would most and least like to run their office and Chelsea’s Italian coach Antonio Conte was named as the most desired boss. Unfortunately for the super-Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, UK workers pushed him to the bottom of this ranking. In fact, Manchester United’s coach is considered to be “Toxic”.

As Inside World Football reported, this survey has been commissioned by leading jobs board totaljobs.  2,000 UK workers were required to answer what qualities make for a good and bad manager in the workplace. Mourinho’s negative characteristics outweigh the positive. Although those interviewed acknowledged his successful skills as a football coach (47%), almost 1 in 3 (29%) said he is arrogant.

On the other side, Italian trainer Antonio Conte is the manager beloved by the UK workers due to his passion and ambition viewed as key characteristics for their choice.

It’s interesting to know that those who trained the English national team are not really loved and Fabio Capello is in the lower position of the ranking as well. Sven Goran Erikson and Sam Allardyce sit just above Mourinho. However, this trend is changing. The current England manager Gareth Southgate is in the fourth place due to  his humbleness, dedication, and loyalty to the team.

UK workers are also deeply in love with another Italian master coach. Claudio Ranieri sits in the second place of this special ranking.
